2012 Season Registration Info, Fee's & Link

Register online now for the 2012 season with Brooklyn United Soccer Club.
To register, visit www.kdsabrkln.calfordgreen.com/registeronline
For 2011 Brooklyn United Players select re-register player - enter the
information requested and follow the steps to re-register.
If you are unable to access the system, please email
secretary@brooklynsoccer.org.au and advising the player(s) you wish to
re-register and your current email address. We can then reset your
password and email your log in information to your new email address.
For new players, follow the links to register as new player.

Fee's have been slightly increased this year, due to the KDSA raising their
fee's and the Hornsby Council has raised the ground hire fee's 15%.
All fee's are to be paid at time of registration. If you would like to enter a
payment arrangement please email treasurer@brooklynsoccer.org.au - all
fee's must be paid in full before you are able to play. No exceptions.

2012 Pre-Season Training & BBQ

Welcome everybody to the 2012 soccer season
Pre-Season training for all junior teams begins Wednesday 29th Feb 2012 at 5pm till 6pm then afterwards a complimentary BBQ meal will be provided for all players.
Pre- Season training and BBQ will be ongoing each Wednesday at 5pm until March 14th then usual team training begins.
This is an ideal time for new players to meet their team members also a perfect opportunity for any parents/guardians to offer assistance for coaching and managers roles if they would like to.
During training official Brooklyn Shorts & socks will be available to purchase.
Socks are $10 per pair & Shorts are $25.00 which will need to be paid for straight away.
Please note: No soccer/football boots or footwear having STUDS are to be worn for pre-season training; this is a prerequisite from Hornsby council to all KDSA clubs although shin pads are to be worn at all times.

Last chance to get on a KDFRA REFEREE COURSE this year – ADULTS PARTICULARLY NEEDED

The last new-entry Referee course for this year will start on Tuesday 6 March.
Although more than 80 new referees have been trained on the courses run over the last few weeks, very few adults have applied. The final course will start on Tues 6 Mar, and run for four evenings (Tue 6 Mar, Thur 8 Mar, Tues 13 Mar, and Thur 15 Mar, for the Laws course, plus all day on Sunday 18 Mar for the Level 4 (Practical) Referee qualification. This gets you the national FFA qualification as a Level 4 Referee.
For KDSA to get officials out to officiate at adult games, we need more adult referees (under 18 refs are not allowed to referee adult football for obvious reasons).
Please give urgent thought to whether you can take up refereeing.

2012 Training Schedule Hi All Below is the initial training schedule for 2012, Please consult directly with your coach & manager in regard to these days & times. Please remember to check the KDSA website or Hornsby council to confirm if the ground is not closed subject to wet weather. Also Please note No studs are to be worn for pre-season training although shin pads are compulsory for training & all matches. Junior Football (Junior Mixed) 2012 Season Start

We appreciate there is some confusion out there. This year we have a dilemma with two councils not making grounds available at the start of our season which is technically 31 March 2012. Therefore Junior Football Committee (JFC) has advised; Under 6 to Under 11Saturday 31 March 2012- As many games as possible will be scheduled in the Willoughby/Lane Cove and Ku-Ring-Gai COUNCIL grounds and schools
- No games will be played on North Sydney and Hornsby Council Grounds
- You need to wait until the draw comes out to see if your team has a game
Saturday 7 April 2012No games as this is Easter SaturdaySaturday 14 April 2012All grounds are open and ALL teams will be scheduled to play Under 12 to Under 18 CompetitionsSaturday 31 March 2012- On this day we have only grounds available in the Willoughby/Lane Cove and Ku-Ring-Gai councils. NO grounds available in Hornsby or North Sydney council areas
- JFC has decided this day will be used to play round 1 of KDSA ShieldCompetitons. We would like as many clubs as possible to nominate for the shield competitions.
- For those clubs/teams not involved in the Shield Competitions JFC will allow those teams to arrange friendlies against other KDSA clubs. The conditions will be;
- When a match is arranged the request is to be sent to admin@kdsa.asn.au,telephone enquires can be made with Damian at the office9477 6521
- The standard Sanction Form located in the website library is to be used - Leave ground and time blank
- Out of the two teams playing, at least one team must be from the council area of Willoughby /Lane Cove or Ku-Ring-Gai
- Requests are to be received before Wednesday 28 March 2012
